If you want to be better at music these are some hints to help you.

Singing
1.Practice your breathing and open your mouth.
2.Even if you don't have a great voice, you can be good in the choir.
   Just listen to good singers and copy their sound.

Recorder
1. Practice your fingering. Practice your blowing.
    Try to learn to read notes. But if you can't
     read notes, you can still play by ear.

2. There are only between 9 &14 notes to learn on the recorder.
    To learn your notes practice and practice.
