Thank you, Norquay Grade Seven students!

Over the past few months, grade seven's of our school have been involved in a project known as the Legacy Project. This was introduced by the 2002 graduation committee.  This project was created so that grade seven's could give a gift to the school, a concrete picnic table where students could sit and hang around.  Hopefully, this gift will remind the school of the 2002 graduates.  We're all hoping that this will be a school tradition that will happen every year.  This project involved some fundraising.  To do that a store was set up.  Students dedicated their recess and lunch time to help out.  Also there was a plant sale, basketball shoot-out, chess tournament and some of the money made from the talent show went to this project. The goal was to reach $600.00.  Through those events, enough money was made.  In fact, over $700.00 was raised.  Thanks to the teachers and the members of the grad committee who took their time to plan all these events.
