The Alevin Stage

Hi it's me again Franky. Finally I have come out of the shell. Now I am called an alevin. We can't swim yet , we dig into the gravel to hide. We are very fragile. Our yolk sac that is what we feed on. It has vitamins and minerals. When I get bigger and bigger my yolk sac gets smaller and smaller until it is all gone. We dig into the  gravel to hide from predators. Our predators are perch and trouts. I live in the stream where I was born. I still need cold clean and good oxygen. I live in a stream in B.C.
