Last Day Farewells

On Friday, June 29, the Norquay staff had breakfast together and took time to say
goodbye to colleagues who would not be returning to Norquay School in September.
Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Kainer and Mrs. Farrell are retiring.
Mrs. Bradley will be teaching in Surrey in the fall.

We will miss them and we wish them all well.

Mrs. Hughes, our principal for the last three years.	We thank Mrs. Hughes for her tireless work on behalf of the Norquay students, and for her leadership of the Norquay teachers.
Mrs. Kainer taught Grades 4, 5 and 6 as well as ESL. Her celebrated tap dance groups, the KainerKorps, will be long remembered. She also coached many fine basketball teams.	Mrs. Lane taught grade 1 and kindergarten at Norquay. Hundreds of lucky children got off to a great start at Norquay with her. Mrs. Farrell was a resource teacher who worked with many, many Norquay primary students.
	After 17 years teaching grades5 and 6 at Norquay, Mrs.Bradley is moving to the Surrey School District next year. Watch our Surrey!
We thank Mr. Yeh for filling in so ably for Mrs. D. Hughes this spring.	Ms Lau thanked Ms Moore-Ostry for lightening her load this spring as well.
