| After the fry stage is the smolt stage. The smolt is absolutely bigger than the adorable fry. The smolt is 10 centimetres long. The smolt swims gently downstream to the estuary. The estuary is the place where the fresh water meets the salt water in the wide, beautiful ocean. Smolts now is going to change to chocolate brown and shiny silver with it. The smolts is the 3rd stage to becoming a lovely salmon. |
