| Hello! I am Ann the Sockeye Salmon. I live in a pinkish (well, some people say it is orange) egg. A soft, orange, transparent egg, the size of a pea. My egg stays in a freshwater stream, in British Columbia, Canada. It is very peaceful here, though sometimes predators like trout take interest in me (you know what that means), but it's not so bad. My hundreds of sisters and brothers and I are hidden safely away in a redd, that is a fish nest. |
