The grade three
classes visited the Vancouver Aquarium at the end of January to
learn more about fish habitats, enemies, tricks for survival, eating
habits, reproduction and appearance.
Division
13, Mrs. Holland's grade threes, put together a display of underwater
scenes that represent different termperate zones (warm water such
as coral reef, Arctic Zone of North Pacific region). Some students
used a porthole to make it feel as if they were in a submarine.
Each child researched an underwater animal
and presented their findings to the class with an oral presentation
and chart display.
