| This year the senior girls volleyball, has
had great team spirit. Thirty-one grade seven girls joined, who showed
their interest in the sport by trying their hardest to win their games.
Now twenty-five girls remain dedicated to their teams and continue to show
good sportsmanship. Mr. Chiu and Mr. Beriault coached these awesome teams
and we thank them for coming out and teaching them.
The practices were cut short to one practice a week, due to the gym's limited time and space. They played three other schools which consisted of six teams - Queen Alexandra with one team, Selkirk with two, and our Norquay team with three. Since we had the largest amount of players, all of our games were at our gym after school. In the end of the three battling weeks, our Norquay C. team, and Selkirks' A. team proceded on to the zone finals @ Thunderbird. We wish them good luck and have lots of fun. |
