| Mrs. Kitamura has been teaching at John Norquay
for about 6 years. She started coaching the running club last year. This
year she is coaching junior boys volleyball with Mrs. Abe, a 6 grade teacher.Her
favorite sports are snowboarding, running, volleyball and aerobics. She
enjoys coaching because she likes to see kids exercising instead of watching
television. Mrs. Kitamura says that sports is not about winning, it's about
having a good game and having good sportsmanship. She said that kids learn
better if their active and exercising.
Mrs. Kitamura is a great coach at John Norquay School. We all appreciate the effort that Mrs. Kitamura puts into coaching the students at Norquay School. By Anna Escobar and Vinson Yu. |
